Kylie Jenner: 'I've never had a normal life, I didn't choose fame'

Last night, Kylie Jenner’s much-anticipated reality TV show ‘Life Of Kylie’ premiered across the pond, with the youngest member of the Kardashian/ Jenner clan fronting her own series so that fans can get a more detailed insight into who she is.

Kylie was widely praised after the first episode aired, with many viewers admiring how open and honest the teen star was – especially as she opened up to a therapist during the show.

Speaking to the professional, Kylie admitted that she felt she’d been denied the opportunity to live a normal life, confessing that homeschooling coupled with her luxurious celebrity lifestyle means that she has no idea what it is like to be ‘normal’.

Opening up, the beauty guru explained: “I don’t know what it’s like to live a normal life, where people just don’t know who you are, to get out the car and not have everyone stare at you.

“I feel like when you grow up on camera, people feel like they know you. I started filming ‘Keeping Up With the Kardashians’ when I was nine years old. I really don’t know what it’s like [for people] to not know who I am.

“I feel like, for so long I’ve been putting out this persona to the world.”

Kylie went on to reveal that whereas her older sister, Kim Kardashian, was “made” for the celebrity lifestyle, she doesn’t feel as though she is as well suited.

The 19 year old continued: “Kim always said this is what she’s made for, and I respect that, but it’s hard to do normal things when every single person knows who you are.

“I for sure didn’t choose this life, but I’m not going to say that I’m totally innocent, because I am keeping up this lifestyle.

“I know I’m making myself more famous by having an Instagram and posting photos, but I’m not that type of person, like, where I want all the attention.

“Like, I don’t like that. It actually freaks me out because it reminds me that I’m Kylie f*cking Jenner.”

Kylie’s famous family praised her honesty after the episode aired, with Kim tweeting: “So proud of my little sis @kyliejenner – she has her own show!”

Life Of Kylie premieres in the UK this Sunday on E! at 9pm.
