Niall Horan buys cakes, hot drinks and breakfast for fans camping overnight for London show

In case you missed it, earlier this week Niall Horan kicked off his Flicker Sessions tour in Dublin, performing his entire, previously unheard debut solo album to thousands of excited fans.

Tonight, Niall will take to the stage at London’s Shepherd’s Bush Empire, and the One Direction star was left concerned when he heard that some fans were camping overnight in order to secure a front row position for his show.

Writing on Twitter as soon as he heard the news, Niall shared: “Just heard that some of you guys are camping outside of Shepherd’s Bush Empire.

“I really appreciate the love but please stay safe tonight.”

Shortly afterwards, some of the fans who were camping took to social media to reveal that Niall had sent his bodyguard, Basil Whelan, to the venue to make sure that everybody was okay and to buy them cakes and hot drinks from a nearby cafe.

Writing on Twitter, fans India and Kat wrote: “Basil’s buying us all hot drinks.

“We went and helped Basil carry them all back and we were like: ‘Thank you so much’ and he was like: ‘No problem, it’s from Niall, he sent me down.'”

The fans clarified that Niall bought 15 hot chocolates, 14 teas, two soya milk teas and six coffees plus a box of cake and biscuits for those waiting, with Basil returning later that evening to ask them what hot drinks they’d like in the morning.

As if that wasn’t enough, Basil also delivered the group breakfast sandwiches in the morning – bringing the fans bags full of bacon and ketchup, bacon and brown sauce, egg, and egg and bacon sandwiches as well as toast.

Fans across the globe were incredibly touched by Niall and his team’s sweet gesture, tweeting those who were camping supportive messages:

Niall is set to take to the Shepherd’s Bush Empire stage later tonight, and we can only hope that those who went through the trouble of camping overnight managed to secure themselves a front row spot.
