Yahoo News Strictly Come Dancing: Alexandra Burke admits she 'screams and shouts' at partner Gorka Marquez
Alexandra Burke has fuelled speculation that all is not well between herself and her Strictly Come Dancing professional partner, Gorka Marquez, revealing that she “screams and shouts” at him during training.
The pair are said to be “at war” behind the scenes, with it previously being reported that Alexandra is “furious” with Gorka’s growing relationship with fellow Strictly hopeful Gemma Atkinson.

Speaking to The Sun, Gorka said of the X Factor winner: “She shouts at me more than I shout at her. She brings out the beast in me.”
Alexandra added: “He’s scared of me. There was one time that he stopped mid-dance and I shouted and I screamed at him saying, ‘You are meant to be a pro, don’t ever stop’.
“He was like, ‘Woah, OK girl. I will never stop again’.”

Last month it was reported that Gorka’s apparent romance with Emmerdale star Gemma had caused a rift with Alexandra, with an insider explaining at the time: “Not surprisingly, Alexandra is furious about how it might impact her chances of winning.
“She’s very ambitious and is nervous about it all.”
Gemma is paired with Aljaz Skorjanec, but the source went on to claim that she and Gorka “clicked” when they met during group rehearsals and she is enjoying “getting to know him”.
However, another source has now rubbished the speculation, telling The Sun: “This is just complete nonsense, Alex and Gorka are getting on really well – they’re definitely pushing each other in the rehearsal room to be the best they can be and create amazing routines.

Alexandra and Gorka are the frontrunners of this series of the BBC One dance show, with Alexandra bagging the first 10 of the series for her jive to Tina Turner’s ‘Proud Mary’.
