Former EastEnders child star launches vile racist rant after losing his wallet

A former EastEnders star has been caught ranting on a night out after losing his wallet.

Joshua Pascoe, who played Ben Mitchell in the BBC One soap between 2010 and 2012, made racist remarks as he seethed over his missing money, reportedly asking passers-by for cash.

In mobile phone video footage obtained by The Sun, the 21-year-old actor can be heard repeatedly saying that the person who stole his wallet was likely to be “some p***”, with the 28-second clip being filmed in central London.

In the video, Joshua says of his wallet: “Some f*cking p*** probably took it.”

A witness added to The Sun: “He was furious and had to ask a bunch of complete strangers for money.

“It was a shock to hear such vile words from someone well known.

“He appeared to think that kind of racist language was nothing to be ashamed of. Many of the people who overheard were offended.”

Joshua was axed from EastEnders at the age of 16 after he was arrested for an alleged sexual assault, although it is thought that no charges were brought.

Prior to this, the star had been expelled from his stage school over claims of bullying.

A spokesperson for Joshua refused to comment.
