Panasonic's new shaver is the perfect Father's Day gift

Shaving never felt so good.

As Father's Day gets closer, it's time to think about the perfect gift for your dad. If you've already exhausted socks, beer and barbecue equipment, then giving him something that can make his mornings a little easier will definitely get you in his good books.

Panasonic's Shaver range consistently gets five-star reviews and now there's a new model — the ES-LT4B is a waterproof three-blade electric shaver with an ultra-fast linear motor that gives constant, even pressure to making shaving quick and easy.

The Panasonic ES-LT4B can be used as both a wet and dry shaver, and the three blades are sharpened to 30 degrees to maintain their sharpness so they minimise irritation and redness. The blades move independently to follow the contours of the face to deliver a gentler shave.

If you think the blades look different, you're right. Their structure allows long hair to be cut and caught first, while the other two blades cut hair at the root. This results in a sharp, close shave that can be done quickly and without mess.

The 2D head moves both left and right, enabling it to reduce the number of strokes needed for a close shave. The blade moves at 216 times a second, so it can monitor beard thickness and take off exactly the right amount. It also has 39,000 cross-cutting actions per minute, allowing it to power through thick beards without causing dry or sore skin.

Small, easy to hold, and available in red and blue, it's pretty much the perfect pressie.
