Beth Ditto has released a rollicking, euphoric cover of Tommy James & The Shondells’ “I’m Alive” from 1968. “Being alive is radical right now,” said Ditto of her cover choice, “so let’s live!” The former Gossip frontwoman became known for drawing upon classic soul and rock and parlayed these influences into her 2016 solo debut album Fake Sugar.
