The Emporium Selection (Aldi’s in-house brand) clear ornaments come in sleigh and snowman selections with strings so you can hang them. The sleigh one has a Christmas tree design and is filled with mild and grass-fed cheddar cheese. The snowman ornament features a Christmas tree design and is also filled with the cheddar cheese. The individually wrapped pieces of cheese look like the same ones from Aldi’s cheese advent calendar, so I can personally tell you that it’s very tasty.
You’ll be able to get the holiday cheese ornaments at Aldi for $4.99 each beginning on Dec. 4. As an item under Aldi Finds, they will only be around for a limited time, so stock up or risk your Christmas tree going without them! Each ornament has two servings’ worth of
cheese, but something tells us that you won’t want to share.
Yes, we know that hanging cheese on your Christmas tree isn’t exactly practical, unless your home’s temperature is reminiscent of a refrigerator, but it’s for the fun and a quick picture, so just go with it. At the very least, you can hang them up after you’ve eaten the cheese and even fill them with festive shredded paper to make them pop. A snack and a decoration? Sign us up.
