Ayesha Curry shamed for dance moves: 'Steph did this chick a favor when he married her'

Ayesha Curry has been targeted by internet trolls over dance moves she performed for her NBA husband Steph Curry, as seen in a social media video.

On Tuesday, New York radio station HOT97 shared a video of Ayesha playfully performing the “Milly Rock” dance, a viral move created by hip-hop artists 2 Milly in 2014. The radio station asked its followers if "#AyeshaCurry [killed] her Milly Rock," to which the resounding answer was no. In fact, many social media users were more than happy to drag the reality TV star for performing the five-year-old dance move.

"Steph did this chick a favor when he married her," one person tweeted in response to the video. Another wrote, "I feel so bad for Steph.”

But fans were there to defend her, and her marriage, adding that those sending hate to the mother-of-three should get a new hobby.

"[Y’all] worried about Ayesha Curry milly Rock and she opening her 4th restaurant, owns a wine company and banking with the cookware," one person responded. Ayesha and chef Michael Mina recently announced they are opening a new location of their communal dining restaurant, International Smoke, in Del Mar, California.

"But I don’t understand the hate that Ayesha Curry gets [though], she’s being goofy & having fun with her man, [s***] those are the best women to marry [for real]. This generation is weird," another supporter chimed in.

Despite the unwelcome critique of her dancing, Steph surely has her back. In May, he shared a message to his wife on Instagram: “Proud of you for being authentic and putting yourself out there- not being afraid of the potential bull s#*# and nonsense that could and did come at you. Way more positive than negative with all of this. Keep being you. I love you.”
