Strictly Come Dancing: Professional dancer Nadiya's ex issues warning to Davood Ghadami's wife

Earlier this year Strictly Come Dancing producers were accused of trying to wreck EastEnders’ star Davood Ghadami’s marriage, with the chemistry between the actor and his professional dance partner, Nadiya Bychkova, being picked up on by the judges.

Now Nadiya’s ex, dancer Miha Vodicar, has warned Davood’s wife about the 28-year-old beauty, with Miha being left heartbroken after Nadiya abruptly ended their three-year romance in 2010.

Miha has revealed that Nadiya was partnered with hunky male model Peter Klinc on the Slovenian version of Strictly and the pair went on to have secret meetings behind his back.

Issuing a warning to Davood, Miha told The Sun: “Once she decides who she wants, that is it.”

Miha continued: “Her relationship with Peter was a consequence, not the cause, of our split. He was not the reason.

“We never went so deep into finding out why they got together because we decided to carry on with our dancing.

“The more questions you asked, the worse it was.

“It was difficult and broke my heart.”

Ukranian-born Nadiya is now in a relationship with Slovenian footballer Matija Skarabot, who she has a daughter with.

Davood has been married to his wife Isobel since 2010 and the parents have two daughters together – five-year-old Eva and two-year-old Grace.

When previously asked about Isobel’s reaction to his and Nadiya’s sexy dance routines, Davood said: “People will say things. As long as you know the truth and the people you love know the truth it shouldn’t matter. I guess I did learn that.

“My wife watches Kush [his EastEnders’ character] on the TV pretending to be married to or sleeping with another character. So she is used to dealing with this sort of situation in my professional life.

“She is the rock, the steadiness in my life and she knows that. I’m incredibly lucky. She is so supportive.”

Last month former Strictly professional dancers, Ola and James Jordan lashed out at Strictly bosses, accusing them of trying to ruin Davood’s marriage in a bid to boost ratings.

The backlash came after judge Bruno Tonioli joked that the 35-year-old star looked like he was going “straight to the bedroom” with Nadiya following their saucy dance routine.

Hitting out at the judge, James told The Sun: “I found it disgusting — let’s not forget this guy is a married man with two children.

“Bruno may have been joking but they’re joking with people’s lives here.

“He’s dancing with a good-looking girl and producers are trying to make her out to be this maneater which again is extremely unfair on her.

“These people are married. It’s not right. At the end of the day they want Strictly to be this family show, clean entertainment — do they like seeing another marriage being messed up?

“They need to lay off this whole thing because it’s not fair on either of them.”
