Amir Khan's wife Faryal Makhdoom reveals she's pregnant weeks after bitter split

Amir Khan’s wife, Faryal Makhdoom, took to Twitter last night to reveal that she is pregnant – just weeks after she and the boxer publicly split.

The 26-year-old beauty wrote: “Alhumdulilah , blessed with baby number 2 in my tummy #excited eating away, can’t stop”.

She followed up with another message on Snapchat, sharing: “I’ve been waiting to announce something very special.

“Alhumdulilah, I am pregnant with my second child.

“Time for me to get fat and chunkayyyy”.

Faryal also shared a video of her and Amir’s three-year-old daughter, Lamaisah, touching her own stomach as Faryal asked: “You have a baby in your tummy?” with the little girl replying: “Yeah, mummy’s tummy”.

Amir has not acknowledged the news on his own social media channels, although he has been actively tweeting about last night’s high profile boxing match between Conor McGregor and Floyd Mayweather.

The boxer publicly dumped his wife earlier this month following a Twitter rant where he claimed that Faryal had been cheating on him with fellow boxer Anthony Joshua.

Anthony denied the claims and Amir lated admitted that he had nothing to do with his marriage breakdown, dubbing the public spat a “misunderstanding” and apologising to the star.

However, he confirmed that he is still set to leave his wife because their relationship had become “unhealthy”.

Shortly afterwards it was claimed that Amir had been “trying to leave his wife for two years”, but she threatened to “destroy his reputation” if they separated.

Faryal’s pregnancy news received a mixed response from her followers, with one joking: “Congratulations @AnthonyFJoshua”.

Another quipped: “Congratulations, who’s the dad?” whilst others enquired whether Amir knew.
