Cheryl shows off toned tummy in first public appearance since baby Bear's birth

Yesterday saw Cheryl make her first public appearance since welcoming baby Bear with boyfriend Liam Payne back in March, and the star was keen to show off her toned stomach in a crop top and her trademark wide-fit trousers.

The former X Factor judge was accompanied by Girls Aloud bandmate Nicola Roberts as she joined spectators at the Game4Grenfell charity football match, which was to raise money for those who have been affected by the Grenfell Tower disaster.

The star appears to have already regained her trademark abs after giving birth less than six months ago, although she opted to leave little Bear at home for yesterday’s event.

Although Cheryl’s appearance went smoothly for the most part, she did find herself at the centre of a TV gaffe when The Last Leg presenter Adam Hill accidentally reffered to her by her old name live on air.

Adam was hosting coverage of the game on Sky 1 and introduced Cheryl as “Cheryl Cole” when crossing to an interview with her at the QPR ground.

The comic seemed unaware of his blunder and neither he or Cheryl have commented on it.

Cheryl first shot to fame with the surname ‘Tweedy’ but adopted ex-husband Ashley Cole’s surname when they married in 2006, which she continued to publicly use even after splitting from the footballer.

In 2015 she became Cheryl Fernandez-Versini after marrying French businessman Jean-Bernard, becoming known as just ‘Cheryl after they split last year.

The singer is currently dating One Direction star Liam Payne and although Liam admitted to sometimes calling Cheryl “The Mrs.”, he went on to add that wedding bells aren’t in the pipeline just yet.
