Love Island: Olivia Attwood's ex 'needed therapy' after dating 'spoilt brat'

It’s fair to say that one of the most divisive characters in this year’s series of Love Island is 26-year-old Olivia Attwood, who is seemingly loved and loathed in equal measures by viewers of the show.

Now Olivia’s ex-boyfriend, Ricky Foster, has come forward to claim that he needed therapy after his six-year relationship with the star, dubbing Olivia a “spoilt brat” in a scathing interview.

Speaking to The Sun, Ricky revealed that he and Olivia broke up in 2015 but were in contact until two months before Olivia entered the Love Island villa.

Discussing his ex, the roofer shared: “She was a pain. Lazy, spoilt brat. She lived off me for all the years we were living together. She didn’t want to do much.

“I paid the mortgage and the bills. She didn’t do a lot – I used to cook, clean, hoover, walk the dog and go to work. She lived quite a life with me.”

Ricky went on to explain that his parents warned him about Olivia shortly after they started dating, with the blonde beauty reportedly becoming jealous when he’d spend time with his family.

He also claimed that she would grow jealous any time that he socialised with friends and it was a lads holiday to Germany that made him realise that it was time to end the romance.

After the split, Ricky continued to pay off the mortgage on the house that they shared and even gave her money each week.

He continued that he was left feeling as though he was having a “mental breakdown”, adding: “I did see a therapist and they said ‘I don’t think it’s you’.

“It was about six/seven months after. I was pretty distraught to even be there so I was pretty upset and crying a bit.”

Even Stormzy has had his say on Olivia.

During her time on Love Island, Olivia has admitted that she can be “cold and emotionless”, even telling her partner Chris Hughes that he has made her “nicer”.

Although some viewers love her character, others have struggled to warm to Olivia – including grime artist Stormzy who has said that Chris is “too good” for her.
