WATCH Katie Price slammed as she sings new single live on Loose Women
In case you missed it, Katie Price is once again trying to make a success out of her singing career, releasing brand new dance track ‘I Got U’.
Determined to prove that she doesn’t rely on auto-tune, the former glamour model appeared on Loose Women earlier today to perform the track live, but unfortunately she didn’t end up impressing viewers at home.
In fact, the 39-year-old mum-of-five was completely slammed on social media, with several viewers quipping that they were “reaching for the remote” as Katie belted out the huge notes in the song.
Taking to Twitter, shocked fans wrote:
Oh Katie price. Please stop #loosewomen pic.twitter.com/o4TdsXWb2X

Tell you what… @MissKatiePrice should never be allowed to sing! Cringe all the way through that song on @loosewomen !!

However, some insisted that Katie had actually performed really well, with many defending the nervous star as they applauded her for having the courage to sing completely live on daytime TV:
Just watched the @MissKatiePrice performance! Pleasantly impressed with her singing live! Fair play to her!

Speaking ahead of her performance, Katie told her fellow Loose Women panellists: “I’ve had a song made for my voice, written for me by Craig Colton from The X Factor.
“I haven’t had any singing lessons recently but I can sing this – that’s why I’m doing it live, I can actually sing it!
“It won’t be a flop. I’m doing this because it’s my passion, and I can do it, and I will do it.”
This isn’t the first time that Katie has showed off her vocals, previously attempting to represent Britain in Eurovision back in 2005 before releasing an album with her then-husband, Peter Andre, in 2006.
So far Katie’s musical career hasn’t quite had the reception that she’s hoped for, but who knows? Maybe 2017 will be her year…
