Caitlyn Jenner offered £1million to appear on Celebrity Big Brother

It has been reported that Caitlyn Jenner has been offered a staggering £1million to take part in this summer’s series of Celebrity Big Brother.

If she accepts the deal, she will be the highest-paid contestant in Celebrity Big Brother’s history.

Caitlyn would be an exciting addition to the house.

According to a mysterious source, Caitlyn met with show bosses during her recent visit to London last week, with producers certain that securing Caitlyn will guarantee them high viewing figures.

The insider told the Daily Star: “The bookers are really keen to have Caitlyn in the house. They know she’d be TV gold so they’re prepared to break the bank for her.

“The world has been fascinated by Caitlyn’s story and getting her would push ratings through the roof.”

Caitlyn, who transitioned from male to female last year, is a former Olympic athlete and the father of supermodel Kendall Jenner and lipkit guru Kylie Jenner.

She is also the stepfather of the famous Kardashian sisters, marrying their mother, Kris Jenner, in 1991.

If she does agree to go into the house, Caitlyn won’t be the first housemate to have links to the Kardashian family, with Kim’s best friend, Jonathan Cheban, previously taking part in the show but quitting after just a few days because he felt too claustrophobic.

Other housemates who Channel 5 producers have their eye on include Donald Trump’s first wife, Ivana, spiritual medium Derek Acorah, and Hulk Hogan.

Meanwhile, Caitlyn’s visit to London ended on a bitter note last week when she became the victim of a transphobic hate crime as she left the LGBT Awards.

The 67-year-old star is said to have been left “terrified” by her ordeal, with the Metropolitan Police confirming that they are investigating reports of a hate crime but no arrests have been made.

Speaking to The Sun, an onlooker said: “Caitlyn had an amazing night and when she won her award the room went crazy.

“She’d had such a wonderful time but as she went to leave the whole atmosphere changed.

“Someone shouted to her: ‘Oi, Bruce, get your d**k’ out. Then someone else threw something at her. It was horrible.”

The eyewitness went on to add: “Caitlyn kept her cool though and walked to her limo with her head down and security bundled her into the car but she looked terrified.”

Caitlyn has not publicly commented on the attack.
