Ariana Grande's brother heaps praise on the star: 'I've never been so proud'

Millions of people across the globe watched last night’s One Love Manchester benefit concert, organised by American popstar Ariana Grande after her fans were targeted in a suicide attack on May 22.

Countless concert-goers suffered life-changing injuries and 22 people lost their lives in the horrifying attack, with Ariana organising the benefit concert to raise money for those who had been affected by the atrocity.

The three-hour show went on without a hitch, with Ariana being joined on stage by the likes of Coldplay, the Black Eyed Peas, Katy Perry, and even a surprise appearance from Liam Gallagher.

The 23-year-old popstar was widely praised by everybody watching, with many viewers taken aback by just how gracious, humble, and compassionate Ariana was throughout the show as the star spending most of the time on stage with her famous friends rather than hiding backstage.

However, nobody is quite as proud of Ariana and the One Love Manchester movement than her 34-year-old brother Frankie Grande, who took to Instagram late last night to gush about his little sister.

Frankie, who took part in Celebrity Big Brother last year, shared a photo from the night to his Instagram followers, writing: “I don’t think I’ve ever been as proud of my little sister as I am right now.

“What a remarkable return after such a challenging time… and what incredible support; by the artists who joined her, the audience who watched and the many many men and women who protected us all today so that one love could be the remarkable success that it was.

“Thank you all. God bless Manchester, London, and all the victims and their families… we honour you. #onelovemanchester”.

Frankie’s words came after Ariana’s manager, Scooter Braun, took to the stage last night to gush about the singer’s determination and empathy, calling Ari the “bravest person” he knows as he recalled how she had called her up a few days after the tragic terrorist attack and told him that they “must do something”, adding that Ariana had said: “If we do nothing, I can’t live with myself.”

The entire One Love Manchester show was organised in little over a week, with all of the night’s headliners performing for free and flying over to Manchester at incredibly short notice.

All proceeds from the concert went to the We Love Manchester Emergency Fund, with it being reported that it has so far raised over £2million for victims of the attack.
