The as-yet-unidentified man was photographed running from the scene of the attack on London Bridge and Borough Market just after 10pm last night (June 3), still clutching what looks to be a good third of lager, and was instantly hailed on social media.

Police officers responded to reports of a van colliding with pedestrians on London Bridge late on Saturday evening, as well as reports of stabbings at a bar in nearby Borough Market.
Three male suspects wearing fake explosives vests were also shot dead by armed police.
Anyone with footage relating to Saturday night's incidents in London is encouraged to send it directly to the UK Police Image Appeal. Casualty bureau numbers are 0800 096 1233 and 020 7158 0197.
