Dustin Lance Black gushes about married life with Tom Daley

At the weekend Tom Daley tied the knot with Dustin Lance Black, with the two men going on to share a series of intimate photos from their wedding day.

Now Oscar-winning screenwriter Dustin has opened up about married life and, well, let’s just say that he seems rather fond of it.

Sharing a photo of himself planting a tree that poignantly symbolises his and Tom’s romance, Dustin wrote: “Married life so far: 1) Plant trees to mark the beginning of all our new adventures? DONE.

“2) Paint the living room? DONE.

“3) Wipe that silly grin off my damn face? NO WAY.”

The star previously said of his and Tom’s big day: “6th of May 2017. When all my hopes and dreams of ‘Maybe one day…’ came true.

“Thanks to all of our family and friends for helping create the best day of our lives.”

Meanwhile, Tom also shared a photo from his and his new husband’s tree-planting venture, writing: “Planting a tree to mark the start of our marriage and all the adventures to come!”

The Olympic diver had previously dubbed his wedding day “truly unforgettable”, calling Dustin the love of his life.

The happy couple shared their fairytale wedding with 120 guests at Bovey Castle in Dartmoor national park, the grooms were dressed in Burberry suits and the London Gay Men’s Chorus provided the music to their special day.

Tom, 22, and Dustin, 42, first got together in 2013, just a few months after Tom opened up about his sexuality in a YouTube video.

The pair got engaged in October 2015 and the rest, as they say, is history.
