Boy George admits that he 'ships' Zayn Malik and Liam Payne

It is incredibly common for fans of celebrities to ‘ship’ them with another celeb; it basically means that they reckon the two stars should date, fall in love, and have babies together because they’re so bloomin’ adorable and/or because they have such obvious chemistry with one another.

For instance, many people ‘ship’ Andrew Garfield and Emma Stone (please work it out, guys), others ship Perrie Edwards and Jade Thirlwall in Little Mix, and plenty ship One Direction’s members with one another.

‘Larry Stylinson’ is the name of the Harry Styles and Louis Tomlinson ship and ‘Ziam’ is the term for Zayn Malik and Liam Payne… And ‘Ziam’ appear to have a rather famous person shipping them.

And no, we’re not talking about Niall Horan.

Last night, singer and former The Voice UK judge, Boy George, drove his fans crazy when he cheekily revealed that he was very much #TeamZiam in a series of Twitter posts.

The star started off with a collage captioned ‘Stuff that makes me smile’, the photos included were a man wearing lipstick, trees, nature… And a manipulated photo of Liam and Zayn grinding on one another during a night out.

Clearly unable to believe their eyes, one fan immediately wrote back: “So you ship Zayn and Liam” only for Boy George to reply: “Book that cruise!”

Needless to say, One Direction fans went into overdrive and were soon tweeting their own hilarious responses to Boy George’s revelation:

The star hasn’t said anything more on his Ziam love, and neither Zayn or Liam have responded to his comment.
