Cheryl jokes that Bear and Liam Payne have a 'deal' as she breaks Twitter silence

Ever since Cheryl welcomed baby Bear Grey with One Direction’s Liam Payne back in March, she has kept an incredibly low profile.

Aside from an Instagram post to announce her son’s birth, Cheryl has been off social media as she spends time bonding with and getting to know her little bundle of joy.

However, last night Cheryl decided to break her silence by tweeting her support for Liam’s debut solo single ‘Strip That Down’, which is due to be released tomorrow – and she decided to have a little chat with some lucky fans whilst she was at it.

The new mum kicked things off by tweeting: “#LiamPayne #STRIPTHATDOWN this is an emoji test not a personal request [sic]”, tickling her followers, but they were stunned when they welcomed Cheryl back to Twitter and she actually replied.

With many asking how little Bear is doing, the former X Factor judge replied: “He’s amazing” and “doing great” as she thanked fans for their wellwishes and admitted that she had missed them.

Cheryl went on to quip that she thinks Liam and Bear “have a deal” after she became the only one who their son has urinated on, with Liam spilling the beans on the “unfair” incident in a recent interview.

He said at the time: “I did all the first day’s worth of nappy changes, because [Cheryl] was so tired, she slept more or less. All day, there was no poo. I was like this is great, I can handle this.”

But when Bear woke up screaming at 5am, Cheryl decided to give this nappy-changing lark a go, with Liam explaining: “I was like go on babes, this was her first ever nappy change.

“So he poos for the first time, of course he does. Secondly, sprouts off [starts weeing]. I’m looking at him thinking this didn’t happen to me all day.

“That’s so unfair. She had to give birth to him and she was the one who got weed on first.”

We’re sure that all of the cuddles make it worth it, right Cheryl?

Liam also admitted that he had wanted to name his first child something “more traditional”, revealing that he was actually pushing for Arthur as a first name and James as a middle name, however, Cheryl wanted a moniker that was slightly more “memorable”.

He shared: “It was like an internal battle. I wanted a more traditional name and she wanted a name that was more unusual.

“And the reason she chose Bear in the end was because Bear is a name that when you leave a room, you won’t forget. And I like that.”

Liam revealed that Cheryl has taken to motherhood like a duck to water and that the pair have no plans to hire a nanny or any other kind of help as Cheryl gets to grips with being a first-time mum.
