Kim Kardashian forced to deny that she was attacked in Los Angeles

It seems like Kim Kardashian finally got a taste of that ‘fake news’ President Donald Trump is always bleating on about, with the mum-of-two forced to deny reports that she had been attacked in Los Angeles.

The reality TV star branded news articles that she’d been targeted whilst out and about in her home city “weird” as she admitted that she first heard the news when concerned friends contacted her.

Taking to her popular Twitter page, Kim revealed that her best pal, Jonathan Cheban, called to check up on her after reading about her fresh ordeal, seven months after she was targeted in a brutal Paris attack.

Reassuring her fans, Kim wrote: “So Jonathan Cheban just called me and asked if I was ok and read online I was attacked outside of Mr. Chow. Totally not true! Such weird rumours.”

She then clarified what had actually happened, adding: “A random guy walks near me & almost bumped into me but he hit the parking meter.

“Not attacked me. Hope he’s ok!”

The news site that initially reported the attack published photos of Kim stood face-to-face with a man wearing sunglasses and a backpack, somebody who is thought to be Kim’s bodyguard has one hand on the man’s shoulder but Kim does not appear shaken and the man could have been just an overzealous fan.

Meanwhile, Jonathan – who appeared in the UK’s version of Celebrity Big Brother last year – was praised by Keeping Up With The Kardashian fans for his near-immediate response to the report.

The speculation comes just weeks after Kim opened up about being held at gunpoint during a robbery of her Paris apartment last October.

In emotional scenes that aired in her family’s reality show, Kim admitted that she feared she’d be raped and murdered when the masked men broke into her hotel, with the whole family overhauling their security measures as a result of the attack.
