EastEnders spoilers: New allies and rocky relationships - the week ahead in Walford

Temperatures might be soaring across the UK today but it’s another frosty week ahead in Walford.

Whilst Michelle Fowler is still begging her loved ones for forgiveness, Max Branning is building new allies as he with his bizarre plot to destroy Albert Square.

So, what exactly is going to happen?

Lauren Branning and Steven Beale’s relationship looks more doomed than ever as Steven finally vents his frustration at constantly being left to babysit Louis whilst Lauren goes out with her friends – will Lauren change her ways or continue to tempt herself with newbie Josh?

Meanwhile, Denise Fox and Kush Kazemi are experiencing the opposite as they enjoy their new romance, and Kim and Vincent Hubbard embrace the relationship by hosting a family dinner party.

Relationships also appear to be deepening between Carmel Kazemi and Max Branning, with Max reaching out when he witnesses Stacey Branning refuse to let Carmel see her grandson, Arthur. The East End bad boy offers to have a word with Stace but it seems like he might have an ulterior motive…

Elsehwere, Michelle Fowler is still desperate for her family’s forgiveness but her niece, Bex, pushes her away and her brother, Martin, refuses to speak to her – even when she reaches out to arrange a tribute for their late brother, Mark, on the anniversary of his death. Fed up with their bickering, Stacey Fowler takes it upon herself to arrange a family meal for the pair of them, leaving Martin fuming.

As if Bex didn’t have enough drama with her wayward auntie, she also continues to struggle against the bullies, with Alexandra and Madison causing even trouble. Her hopes of a reunion with Shakil Kazemi are also dashed when her dad, Martin, warns him to stay away.

Finally, the Queen Vic take the destruction of Beale’s Plaice as motivation to put their money woes behind them and start to sell fish and chips, leaving Ian Beale disheartened. However, Steven suggests a pop up fish and chip shop – bringing businessman Ian back to his element.
