Liam Payne to release new music next month

With Harry Styles set to release his debut solo single this Friday, we didn’t think that it was humanly possible to have any more One-Direction-related excitement this week but it turns out we couldn’t have been more wrong.

In fact, we are practically bursting with anticipation after it was reported that Liam Payne’s new music will be released as soon as next month.

Liam will be back in our eardrums before we know it.

Ahh, One Direction are (individually) back and ready to take over the world!

Liam recently welcomed his first child with former X Factor judge Cheryl, but it looks like fatherhood isn’t going to stop him from being a superstar with a source revealing that he will release his first solo track in May.

Speaking to the New York Post’s Page Six column, the insider blabbed: “He should have a new single out in May.

“Liam will be the last one.”

Which pretty much states the obvious considering Niall Horan and Louis Tomlinson released their first solo offerings last year and Harry’s is coming at the end of the week.

Yesterday it was announced that Harry is set to mark the launch of his solo career with a two-hour interview with his close pal and DJ, Nick Grimshaw, on BBC Radio 1 at 8am this Friday.

Sharing a photo of the star on his Instagram page, Nick shared: “Hiiiii @harrystyles on Friday you’ll hear what happened when we sat down for 2 hours for a massive chat. It was actually 3 but I guess an hour was cr*p and got cut. The song is beautiful. Exciting! See u Friday. [sic]”

Previously, Grimmy revealed that Harry was worried that he wouldn’t like his new music, telling GQ magazine: “He’s [Harry] worried I won’t like his new solo record.

“He recorded it in Jamaica so I’m praying it’s some awful white man reggae.”

Well, we don’t have too much longer until we find out…
