'I said puck you miss': Bieber releases Insta-rant video after 7 News report

Justin Bieber has taken to Instagram to explain his swearing on-camera abuse of Channel 7 News crews from the shore of a private island in Queensland.

In ranting video, "the Biebs" adopted a mock Tongan accent and channelled the character "Jonah from Tonga"

"I said puck you miss! There's a difference between bullying him and joking around. I was joking around," Bieber said in a video posted on Wednesday.

The 23-year-old Canadian addressed the reporter directly in the caption on his post.

"SORRY BEN - If you don't get the context its from an Australian TV show called 'Summer Heights High'," he wrote.

Bieber then went off the charts in the video, snapping and making stabbing motions before the camera.

"Sorry Ben! Motherf******, sorry ranga.

"I was doing it for fun. You just didn't get that it was fun. You on your period or what miss?"

The insults were paraphrased quotes from the character Jonah, developed by Australian comedian Chris Lilley for the hit comedy Summer Heights High.

The "Baby" singer was responding to news reports of his making rude gestures and swearing at camera crews who tracked him down to Sir Richard Branson's private Makepeace Island.

The shirtless megastar, dressed only in board shorts flipped off camera crews while swearing at onlookers.

“F*** you,” the singer yelled.

Security guards told 7 News the Biebs was enjoying time with his family and just wanted some privacy.
