Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt's children praised for their politeness in London bookshop

Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt’s children might be surrounded by wealth and luxury as the offspring of two of the world’s most rich and famous stars, but apparently they are far from the spoilt brats that you might expect them to be.

The Hollywood stars, who split last year, are mum and dad to Maddox, 15, Pax, 13, Zahara, 12, Shiloh, 10, and eight-year-old twins Vivienne and Knox.

Now, Ang has been praised for raising such grounded and polite children by an onlooker who bumped into the family in a London bookshop yesterday.

Angelina was apparently accompanied by daughters Zahara, Shiloh and Vivienne as well as one of her sons, but the witness wasn’t sure which.

According to the source, the actress bought around 30 books for her children.

Speaking to People magazine, they shared: “She bought about 30 books. Mostly colouring books, a ‘Harry Potter’ book, plus some book markers and Easter-themed project books.

“She was talking to the girl at the counter about how she loves to get her kids to enjoy books and loves London, as there are so many good book stores.”

The onlooker also reported that they were holding the last copy of JK Rowling’s Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows but gave it to Angelina’s son when they realised that they were after it.

They explained: “She also thanked me for being considerate and sweet for letting her kid have the last copy of the ‘Deathly Hallows’. It was in my hand at the time, but I let him have it.

“She was lovely. Her kids are so polite. Her lad came over and thanked me for letting him have the book he wanted for a school project. Called me ‘Sir.’ Nice people.”

This isn’t the first time that the Jolie-Pitt children have been praised for their politeness, with author Loung Ung gushing about Maddox when he helped out on set of Angelina’s new movie, ‘First They Killed My Father’.

Loung explained: “I have watched the young people grow into really kind, empathetic, curious human beings.

“Pax is a talented photographer and Mad is so kind and generous. The cast kids, they all looked up to him as a big brother.”

Who says that celebrity children have to be brats, eh?
