Brooklyn Beckham only realised his parents were famous four years ago

Brooklyn Beckham has been super famous ever since he was born to football legend David Beckham and popstar-turned-fashion-guru Victoria Beckham 17 years ago.

However, the teen has now admitted that he spent the majority of his life blissfully unaware of his family’s fame, revealing that he only realised that his mum and dad were celebrities when he was 13.

That was just four years ago.

Speaking to Wonderland magazine, the aspiring photographer confessed: “I didn’t actually know that they were big until I was about 13.

“I went to a football game and people were shouting my dad’s name and I was like, ‘What?! Oh my God.’

“I don’t look at them like that.”

The star is speaking to the mag as he attempts to make a name for himself away from the two stars he calls mum and dad, releasing a photography book in the summer.

Speaking of his new venture, Brooklyn explained: “It’s pretty exciting to put my work out there and show people that I’m not just doing it because of who my parents are.”

The interview was released after Brooklyn broke his collarbone on a ski trip with his parents and younger siblings, 14-year-old Romeo, 11-year-old Cruz and 5-year-old Harper last week.

Here’s hoping that Brook decides to stick to photography and doesn’t venture into extreme sports…
