Professor Green sparks engagement rumours less than a year after Millie Mackintosh divorce

Professor Green has hinted that he popped the question to his girlfriend Fae Williams, taking to his Instagram account to share a photo of his model girlfriend wearing a stunning ring on her engagement finger.

Needless to say, fans went into meltdown over speculation that he is set to marry again – less than one year after he split from his Made In Chelsea wife, Millie Mackintosh.

Pro Green, real name Stephen Manderson, all-but-confirmed the engagement with the cheeky caption: “Fingers crossed this time, ay.”

However, he later threw a spanner in the works by sharing a video of Fae wearing the same ring on the index finger of her right hand before posting a photo of himself donning the ring on his little finger, adding: “Engaged to myself. Wait a minute, wrong finger.”

Hmmm, anybody else a little bit confused?

Fae didn’t share any of the photos to her own social media account, leaving us near-certain that this was just Professor Green’s attempt to troll us all on the most romantic day of the year.

The star previously married Millie back in 2013, the pair split last year and the rapper admitted to feeling “quite sad” when the marriage broke down.

He explained at the time: “I didn’t get married to get divorced. Neither of us did.

“So all that really comes from it is it’s quite sad that it ended.

“I haven’t just had a turbulent couple of years. My turbulence has been my entire life. But the end of my marriage has taught me there’s no permanence in life.

“You have to accept that most things are temporary and there’s a real positive to be drawn from that.”

Millie has not publicly reacted to her ex-husband’s potential proposal.
