After being shared online millions of time, Ed posted the vid on social media and quipped: “This really should have been the music video, lets all be honest.”

Needless to say, his followers couldn’t agree more, commenting: “Must admit I shared it at 3am NZ time this morning thought it was funny. I love how you have shared it also just goes to show everyone that you can have a laugh at it too.”

“My favourite song at the minute and definitely didn’t expect this song to this video!! Crying.”

“You’re amazing. The fact that you shared this is another reason to love you.”

The, ahem, official music video for the song follows Ed as he falls in love with a woman at his boxing club, with the two going on dates and falling for eachother before a hilarious, and surprising, final scene.

Needless to say, it’s miles different to the original video.
