Little Mix fans outraged after Jesy Nelson is 'photoshopped' in Touch music video
Little Mix fans are furious after speculating that Jesy Nelson was retouched to appear thinner in the music video for the band’s new single, Touch.
Throughout the entire vid there appear to be scenes where Jesy’s waist and hips have been digitally manipulated to make her look smaller, with fans noticing that the wall behind Jesy is slightly distorted – a tell-tale sign of photoshop.
On the other hand, none of Jesy’s bandmates – Leigh-Anne Pinnock, Jade Thirlwall and Perrie Edwards – seem to have been retouched.
Now Mixers are angry that Jesy isn’t allowed to feel comfortable with her natural body and have taken to social media to blast whoever was behind the decision to edit the footage:
Jesy is as perfect as the other girls, but I don’t understand why they still photoshop her…Looks like there’s an aura on her in #TouchVideo pic.twitter.com/PRLwfvsgT7

I don’t want director x to direct the girls music videos ever again. I don’t need him to photoshop Jesy’s body. My girls looks great!

@LittleMix Why do Jesy photoshop? She has nothing to be ashamed off – we should celebrate woman. She makes me ashamed now

This isn’t the first time that Jesy’s weight has come under scrutiny, with the star breaking down during Little Mix’s time on The X Factor back in 2011.
At the time, cruel trolls were posting nasty comments about the beauty’s size, with Jesy sharing: “When you’ve got your own insecurities and then people write them on websites for everyone to see, it just makes you feel really rubbish.
“Obviously, I know I’m a lot bigger [than the other girls].
“The comments really got to me. I knew I’d get nasty stuff said about my weight from the start. But it’s not until you actually see it that it hits you. I thought I’d be alright and then I saw it and just burst out crying.
“I found it more upsetting that they were only about me. They’d picked me out specially. Someone called me a ‘fat, ugly c***’, I couldn’t believe it.
“I’m not a nasty person. At least, I don’t think I am! I just didn’t know people would go that far.”
Thankfully, in recent years Jesy has a new-found confidence with her gorgeous body and admitted that she doesn’t care if she “puts on a couple of pounds” because “if you can rock your body with confidence, and you’re happy in your own skin, there’s nothing sexier.”
Needless to say, we couldn’t agree more.
