Kanye West disassociates himself from President Donald Trump

Last November, we were all left stunned when rapper Kanye West admitted during one of his concerts that he hadn’t voted in the US election, but if he did, he would have voted for controversial Donald Trump, who was elected as President.

We mean, Kanye is always shocking his fans with his bizarre and unpredictable antics, but this revelation appeared to be one of the most bizarre and unpredictable of all.

It seems that Kanye has had enough of Trump’s antics.

West followed up by meeting with Donald at Trump Tower in December, defending his meeting on social media following intense backlash from both his fans and close celebrity friends, including singer John Legend.

Writing on his social media account, Kanye explained: “I wanted to meet with Trump today to discuss multicultural issues.

“These issues included bullying, supporting teachers, modernizing curriculums, and violence in Chicago.

“I feel it is important to have a direct line of communication with our future President if we truly want change.”

Ignoring the criticism, the next day the father-of-two shared a photo of a signed copy of TIME Magazine’s ‘Person Of The Year’ issue, which featured Trump on the cover, which the President had signed with: “To Kanye, you are a great friend, thanks.”

In a strange twist of events, all of these tweets have now been deleted from Kanye’s account without comment.

The move comes after Kanye produced an anti-Trump anthem with King Myers, a new signee to his G.O.O.D record label.

The track is called ‘Propaganda’ and calls for Trump to be impeached as it blasts his so-called ‘Muslim Ban’ – an executive order that Trump issued to ban citizens from seven predominantly Muslim countries from entering the United States – even if they already have a green card.

The order was soon overturned by a federal judge but it is believed that Trump is doing all that he can to reinstate it.

Recently, Kanye’s wife, Kim Kardashian, appeared to slam Trump’s Muslim ban on social media, sharing a chart of statistics that showed American citizens were more at risk from gun-wielding toddlers than Muslims, with the star always being open with her support for Trump’s presidential competition, Hillary Clinton.

Neither Kanye or Kim have commented on ‘Ye’s decision to seemingly disassociate himself from the US President.
