Louis Tomlinson to record a song with James Arthur?

Shut the front door, James Arthur has revealed that he might just be collaborating with One Direction star, Louis Tomlinson, and we couldn’t be more surprised.

Both singers shot to fame after appearing on The X Factor, with James winning the competition back in 2012 and Louis finding fame in 1D when they landed in third place in the 2010 series of the show.

Now James, who shares the same management company with Louis, has admitted that he hopes to record a song with the 25-year-old star.

Speaking to The Sun, James explained: “We talked quite a lot about collaborating. I just sent him a lot of tunes as I knew he was on the lookout. He has all my back catalogue.”

The news might come as a surprise to some fans as James and Louis had a well-documented feud after James slagged off One Direction shortly after finding fame.

At the time, James dubbed Louis a “little b*tch” and described 1D as a “marketing product”, however, James clarified that he called Louis up to apologise.

Recalling the conversation, he shared: “We had a phone conversation to clear the air. He got to see that I was a different person and that helped us bond.”

And James isn’t the only person to back out of a feud with Louis, with it being reported yesterday that Louis and his former bandmate, Zayn Malik, had officially cleared the air following their public fallout back in 2015.

Heaping praise onto Zayn following his Brit nominations, Louis appeared to be genuinely pleased for his former best friend, who reached out to Louis following his mother’s tragic death last month.
