Kard
Kard is a Chrome extension that will help you get the most out of your credit card rewards.
To sign up simply add the type of credit card you have and then install the extension to your Chrome browser. But don’t worry, it won’t ask for your credit card number or any personal information. After that, Kard will automatically notify you during check-out if there are deals and bonus offers available on the credit cards in your wallet. If there is, you can make the purchase with your card and reap the benefits.
CamelCamelCamel
CamelCamelCamel is definitely a site you should check out before you check out on Amazon. Sure, Amazon has plenty of discounts, but the retailer also changes prices on products millions of times a day, so it’s hard to know if you’re really getting the best deal. CamelCamelCamel tracks the cost of items, showing you the price history of over 18 million Amazon products. You can even set “price drop alerts” and the site will send you an email or tweet when the price falls on an item you’re watching.
The extension is called Camelizer and it adds price history charts right to your browser. It’s available on Google Chrome and Firefox.
Pricescout
Pricescout is a Chrome extension that compares prices on items you’re shopping for and digs up coupons guaranteed to save you money. Once installed, Pricescout uses an algorithm to scan for deals on billions of products. When you log onto a retailer’s website, a bar at the top of the screen will reveal current coupon codes and deals, so you can see potential deals before you start shopping.
Honey
Few services make it easier to save money than Honey, a free browser extension that automatically applies the best coupon code for you at checkout. It’s compatible with Chrome, Firefox, Safari and Internet Explorer and all you have to do is install the extension. Then every time you shop, Honey will show coupon codes before you check out. I’ve been using Honey for about a year, and I’d say it comes up with a usable coupon about half of the time. But still, it’s more money in my pocket, so definitely worth a try.
