Two brothers have bought their mother her dream car for Christmas after saving up the money for ten years.

Daniel and Jason Knust, from Wollongong in Australia, surprised their mum, Carol, by presenting her with a brand new BMW.

More than a decade ago, she had mentioned that she wanted a BMW, and the boys have been putting aside money for the gift ever since.

Daniel, who is a weightlifter and fitness trainer, posted a video on his Instagram page of his mother receiving the gift.

The two men walk her over to a closed garage door, then it comes up to reveal the BMW, wrapped in a red bow.

In the video, their mother continually tells them “No!” in disbelief.

In his Instagram post, Daniel wrote: “Showing gratitude to our beautiful Mum who’s worked so hard to give us everything in life.

“Compared to the sacrifices she has made for us over the years, this is nothing.

“A little gift to show her how much we appreciate everything she’s done for Jason and I.

“I’ve wanted to do this for 10 years, and today a long term dream came true.

“Hard work pays off, and that’s something our Mum taught us from a very young age that we’ll never forget.”

Later, Daniel told Mashable: “One day, my mum, she said to us that she wanted her own BMW.

“It’s something that’s been in the back of my mind for a long time, and it’s something I’ve always wanted to do.”

He said he and his brother got into “quite a bit of mischief” when they were younger, so this was there way of saying thanks to their mother.
