Police arrest teen allegedly menacing Melbourne streets in $100k fake emergency truck

A teenager has been arrested for allegedly driving around in a fake emergency truck kitted out with more than $100,000 in sirens, lights and gear.

Victoria Police had been flooded with calls about the unmarked vehicle seen driving in a dangerous manner around Melbourne’s bayside area with red and blue lights flashing and sirens blaring.

Dashcam video captured by one motorist showed the truck zooming along a Melbourne highway as cars moved to the side, under the impression they were letting an emergency vehicle pass.
