Adele to teach music lessons at her old school following world tour

Some students get all the luck.

It has been reported that fresh off the back of her world tour, Adele plans to go back to her old school to teach a few music lessons.

We honestly couldn’t imagine anything more exciting as a schoolkid if we tried.

The Tottenham-born superstar attended the BRIT school alongside the likes of Jessie J and Leona Lewis, and now she is apparently set to return in a bid to share her pearls of wisdom.

A school spokesperson revealed that Adele would (obviously) be welcomed back as a teacher “with open arms” as a source revealed: “Adele is grateful for the success she’s had and has been talking a lot about her beginnings while on tour.

“Tony Castro, who was head of music at the BRIT School, is someone she feels particularly grateful to because he made students write their own songs.

“And talking about how teachers influenced her has made her think more seriously about teaching herself.

“Once she has recovered from the tour, she would love to teach a few classes.”

That’ll certainly be one way to stop students from pulling a sickie, eh?

Adele has just finished an around-the-world 2016 tour that saw her play 107 shows across the globe in just ten months.

She will round off her performances next year with gigs in New Zealand and Australia before bidding farewell to the stage with two shows at Wembley Arena called ‘The Finale’.

Adele has admitted that she hopes to have a couple of years off so that she can focus on her family and have another baby – no doubt teaching the odd BRIT school lesson inbetween her personal commitments.
