Strictly 2016: Louise Redknapp hopes Kevin Clifton will help her get pregnant

Ooer.

Louise Redknapp has revealed that she hopes that her professional Strictly Come Dancing partner, Kevin Clifton, will help her fall pregnant with a little girl next year.

But before you start thinking that the pesky ‘Strictly curse’ has struck again, Louise is still very much in love with her husband, Jamie Redknapp – Kevin just has a bit of a rep for being a good luck charm when it comes to fertility.

No, really.

Both of Kevin’s previous celebrity partners from 2014 and 2015, Frankie Bridge and Kellie Bright, fell pregnant almost immediately after taking part in the hit BBC dancing competition, and Louise reckons that this is no coincidence.

Frankie welcomed her second son with husband Wayne Bridge after taking part in Strictly.

She explained on This Morning: “Frankie Bridge is obviously a good friend of mine and when she finished dancing with Kevin, she fell pregnant.

“And Kellie Bright did ‘Strictly Come Dancing’ with Kevin and went on to have a baby so now the joke is he will be my lucky charm because I said I’d really like a girl.

“I’m feeling the pressure, I’m going to have a baby. For me, fertility, has been well-documented. I didn’t have my first son easily, it took me a long time to have him. It took me four years.

“My second one, it took me four weeks so I think, for me, another baby I wouldn’t take it for granted but it’s not something I would rule out.”

Kevin has remained tightlipped on his new-found role as a fertility guru, but we certainly hope that his good luck vibes work wonders for Louise and Jamie.
