Victoria Beckham to become son Cruz's manager as he launches pop career

After both David and Victoria Beckham proudly shared videos of their 11-year-old son, Cruz, singing on their social media accounts, we knew that they had a child star in the making.

Since then, Victoria has shared photos of Cruz in a recording studio, with rumours rife that the pre-teen is set to launch a pop career in the very near future.

Now it has been reported that former Spice Girl Victoria is adamant that she will manage her son’s career as she is determined that the young boy will not fall victim to the pitfalls of fame.

However, her hubby is apparently concerned that Vic will struggle to balance managing their son and running her fashion empire.

A source explained: “Victoria is adamant she needs to be Cruz’s manager and says it’s a no brainer given she has the vital experience from being in the industry for so long and knowing the mechanics of how it works.

“David thinks it is too much and doesn’t know how she’ll have the time to give Cruz the attention he needs. But she insists she’ll do whatever it takes and make sacrifices if need be to ensure she’s there to guide him.”

The insider continued that David reckons Justin Bieber’s manager, Scooter Braun, would be a better choice, adding to Closer magazine: “David thinks someone like Scooter would be far better suited given his experience managing Justin as a child star and having so many connections in the industry, which Victoria doesn’t have after being out of the game for so long.

“But Victoria is upset David won’t back her on this and it’s causing tension with neither of them wanting to back down. Like any parents, they both want the best when it comes to their children.”

X Factor mogul, Simon Cowell, previously said that he’d sign Cruz to his record label in a heartbeat given the chance, with the 11 year old set to make a huge impact in the music industry when he officially bursts onto the scene.
