New GODZILLA Pinball Games Offer Interactive Play Options
Godzilla can be mankind’s greatest friend or greatest foe. Now that will also be true at your local arcade. New Godzilla pinball machines will have you saving Earth from alien invaders, or bringing down entire cities. And modern technology will let you play like never before.
Stern Pinball has partnered with Toho International for an all-new line of pinball machines based on one of cinema’s most iconic monsters. And that classic big lizard is coming with a big modern twist. The Godzilla games also mark the debut of Stern’s new Insider Connected system. Each machine comes with a QR code reader. It lets players interact with the pinball machine and lets store owners maximize play for customers. From Stern’s August announcement for the new feature:
“The platform is designed to enhance and extend player engagement with the games across both home and commercial environments. It also presents professional operators of the pinball machines with a robust set of tools to drive location play, build player loyalty, analyze performance, make adjustments remotely and maintain the machines.”
Unlike the pinball machines themselves, the Insider Connected system is free to use. We doubt fellow Godzilla fans will have any qualms about pumping quarters into them though. Available in three models—Pro, Premium and Limited Edition—they don’t need an interactive feature to make them a must-play for movie monster lovers.
From fighting an invading alien force intent on controlling Earth, to bringing down bridges and buildings, to facing Mechagodzilla, there’s plenty of in-game stories to enjoy.
Stern Pinball
Godzilla pinball machines and accessories are available to order from authorized Stern Pinball distributors all over the world. The base Pro Model can be yours for $6,899 US. The Premium Model for $8,999. And the Limited Edition for $10,499. If you want a Limited Edition machine don’t delay. They are limited to just 1,000 machines.
And if Godzilla happens to destroy any city with one of them, they’ll be even harder to find.
