Oscar Meyer is searching for new Wienermobile drivers to take its hot dog coast-to-coast
Want a job you can relish? Oscar Mayer is looking for “Hotdoggers” with appetites for adventure to drive a 27-foot-long hot dog coast to coast for a year.
In order to become the companies new “goodwill ambassador,” the company is hoping their new employee will not only meat-and-greet customers but also be eager to represent the Oscar Meyer brand on the road.
The company is currently accepting resumes for the dream position until January 31st, and the gig will begin in June. However, the company asks that “Applicants should have a BA or BS, preferably in public relations, journalism, communications, advertising, or marketing.”

The job is, as the company reports, “100% travel.” Oscar Meyer promises applicants a competitive salary, benefits, and expenses, as well as a “company car guaranteed to turn heads.”

According to the job advertisement, there’s more than to just driving a giant hot dog safely. They’re searching for a person to act as their “own traveling public relations firm, organizing promotions and pitching TV, radio and print media.”
