When does a child actually grow up? For many parents, the answer is never. For two high school friends, the answer may be at 336 months — or 28 years old.

When Nicole Ham had the idea to take a photo shoot for her birthday inspired by those staged by many new parents, her longtime friend Stephanie Smith, who owns Southern Stitched Photography in South Carolina, agreed to help.

“Because your best friend only turns 336 months once,” Smith wrote, sharing adorable photos of her friend wrapped up like a newborn.

Ham dressed in a fuzzy blanket and a festive holiday bow upon her brow for the shoot. On a blackboard in the photos, she listed her likes and dislikes, which she then elaborated upon on her Facebook page.

“i’m 336 months old today!,” she wrote. “things i love: champagne, paper straws, clemson football.” Her dislikes include “dating in 2018, paper straws, pedal taverns.” Not to be outdone, she added, “I have all of my teeth (thank god) and i sleep for 8-10 hours a night.”

The photos, which were posted to Southern Stitched Photography’s Facebook page on Saturday, have since been shared more than 25,000 times. The shoot also was a blast for the friends to do together.

“From shopping & laying out flowers in the store to see if we had enough to fit an adult to a collaborative effort between myself & Nicole’s mom to swaddle her…We couldn’t keep a straight face!” Smith told Tampa news station WTVT.

Yahoo Lifestyle reached out to both Smith and Ham for comment and will update this post when we hear back.
