Watch Bryan Cranston Channel Walter White in This Message to Nick Foles
Heading into a challenging matchup this Sunday against the New Orleans Saints in the Divisional Round of the NFL playoffs, Philadelphia Eagles quarterback Nick Foles earned himself a powerful ally-albeit, a fictional one-on Friday morning.
While delivering a special message to Foles on the NFL Network's "Good Morning Football," actor Bryan Cranston briefly went into character as iconic "Breaking Bad" villain Walter White, riffing on White's memorable "I am the one who knocks" speech from season four of the show.

“Who am I talking to right now, Nick? Who is it you think I see?" said Cranston, who delivered the monologue while wearing a vintage Eagles bomber jacket. "Do you know how often you win in the playoffs? I mean, even if I told you, you wouldn’t believe it. Do you know what would happen if you suddenly decided to stop going into work? A franchise good enough to be a Super Bowl Champion goes belly up. Disappears. It ceases to exist without you."
"No, you clearly don’t know who I’m talking to," he continues. "So let me clue you in. You are not in danger, Nick. You are the danger. A team goes down to New Orleans and gets knocked out of the playoffs and they think that of you? No, Nick. You are the one who knocks...teams out of the playoffs," he said, pausing to add, "with the possible exception of the Rams." (Cranston himself, it's worth noting, has implied in the past that his loyalties are with Los Angeles.)
Foles, the MVP of Super Bowl LII, led the Eagles to their first Super Bowl championship in franchise history last season. After once more taking over for injured starting quarterback Carson Wentz in week 15 of this season, the Eagles have now won four consecutive games, with Foles completing 73.2 percent of his passes for 1,228 passing yards, eight touchdowns, and five interceptions.
The Eagles are currently 8.5-point underdogs against the Saints, who finished the season 6-1 at home. Kickoff is scheduled for 4:30 pm ET on Sunday afternoon.
