Designer Jeffrey Alan Marks has launched a new lighting collection with Progress Lighting, and it's definitely a must-see. The collection, which debuted last month at the Dallas International Lighting Market, is inspired by (and named after) one of Marks's favorite places: Point Dume, California. It includes pendants, chandeliers, and sconces, all with a stylish, industrial-meets-coastal vibe.

"Jeffrey’s Point Dume lighting collection celebrates a curated mix of yesterday and today, distilling both industrial and artisanal influences," the brand explains on its website, adding that the collection feels "at home in a range of lifestyles, from coastal to urban."

The collection is the first designer collaboration for Progress Lighting, and with its unique, modern pieces, it's definitely setting the precedent for future collections for the brand's Design Series.

"We have long-admired Jeffrey’s talent seen through his beautifully livable residential projects, as well as his impressive brand collaborations. Jeffrey delivers style with ease as is evidenced in his Point Dume Collection for the Design Series," Colleen Visage, vice president of product management at Progress Lighting, said in a press release announcing the collection last fall.

The Point Dume collection isn't the first collaboration for Marks, however. The designer has worked on collections of fabric, furniture, and more with the likes of Kravet, A. Rudin, Palecek, The Shade Store, and Bed Bath & Beyond.
