Stephanie Davis lashes out at Jeremy McConnell's birthday message to their son

Stephanie Davis has hit back after her ex, Jeremy McConnell, posted a gushing first birthday message to their son Caben-Albi earlier this week.

The reality star, who was released from prison last month, posted a throwback video of himself and Caben on his Instagram Stories with the caption: “Happy birthday son, shame I can’t be there, see you soon.”

However, Stephanie was left less than impressed with the move – taking to her own Instagram Stories to share the note: “In reply to Jeremy’s Instagram. PLEASE don’t act [like] father of the year when you haven’t paid ONE penny towards your SON.

“You have NEVER asked about him or ASKED TO SEE HIM. This [is] for everyone to know [it] is anothe typical mind game to gain publicity (of any kind as that’s what you crave).

“You are no role model to your son so don’t act like you give one damn!! As if you did you would have been there in his life!! Not partying and being a total disgrace.

“Your behaviour is a reflection of that. Please no one buy into his bull. No Christmas present or birthday LET ALONE A CARD!! So drop the act!

“Now, to continue enjoying my boy’s birthday, who I have raised ALONE, don’t pretend you care now. Disgusting using your son. Shame on you!”

It is believed that Jeremy hasn’t seen Caben in months after he had a violent argument with Stephanie last year, with the Irish model being found guilty of physically assaulting her.

He was sentenced to 20 weeks in prison suspended for 12 months and was ordered to attend a Building Better Relationships course as well as carry out 200 hours of community service.

Jeremy went on to miss eight work appointments, with a judge opting to activate his suspended jail term as a result.

Jeremy was imprisoned in November after he breached his community service order, however, he was let out in time for the New Year – thanking fans for their support upon his release.

It is believed that he has been released with an electronic tag and is required to adhere to a curfew.

The former Celebrity Big Brother star must also stay away from Stephanie for three years and any communication about their son must be done via social services or the family court.
