Podcast: Rogers, Pearlman handicap EPL and Champions League races

With the English Premier League two-thirds of the way through its season and the race tantalizingly close, it is time to jump off the fence and make a bold prediction about who will emerge victorious.

The battle for supremacy between Manchester City and Manchester United is the hot topic of discussion in this week's Yahoo! Soccer Podcast, in conjunction with World Football Daily. I have teammed up with soccer author and analyst Michael Pearlman to look into which of the Manchester clubs, or even longshot Tottenham Hotspur, can lift the trophy in May.

We go on to argue over the race for the fourth, final and lucrative Champions League spot, as well as who will survive and who will perish in a finely balanced scrap to avoid relegation at the wrong end of the table.

With the FA Cup also reaching the business end, the famous old competition is dissected, although neither me (Leicester City) nor Pearlman (Tottenham) had the nerve to pick the team we support.

Finally, the return of the Champions League from its mid-season break gave the pundits plenty of fodder for discussion, with the form of Barcelona, Real Madrid and AC Milan all coming under the microscope.
