Megan Fox: I Want to be an Archaeologist

If the whole Hollywood thing doesn't work out for Megan Fox, she has a fall-back career plan: she wants to be an archaeologist. The "Transformers" actress made the head-scratching revelation during an interview with MTV on Wednesday. "I would really love to go on an archaeological dig," said the 25-year-old actress — and she's not joking. "I have an offer to go somewhere in England, but I would rather go to Egypt or Syria or some place like that."

That big dream will have to wait for now. Fox is currently promoting her latest project, "Friends With Kids," a comedy starring Jon Hamm, Kristen Wiig, and Maya Rudolph. During an appearance on "Ellen," which aired on Thursday, the actress was reminded of a past career she had before she headed to Hollywood. "My only real job that I ever had was I worked at a little smoothie shop in Florida," Fox told DeGeneres. "I mostly worked behind the register, but once a week, usually on Fridays, someone had to dress up as a fruit and go out and stand by the highway … I was a banana. A giant banana."

As she innocently described the gig, unbeknownst to her there was a man dressed as a banana sneaking up behind her. "It was weird, and what was bad about it was your face wasn't hidden," she continued. "There was a thing cut out where your face … " — and then Fox screamed as the banana grabbed her. After recovering from the fright — and the laughter — she asked DeGeneres where the Banana Man had gone. The comedian's response? "He split!"

While plugging her new flick, Fox has also revealed that children are on the horizon for her and husband Brian Austin Green, whom she married in 2010. Although they both care for Cassius, his 9-year-old son with ex Vanessa Marcil, they're eager to make him a big brother. In a new interview with Cosmopolitan, Fox dishes that she wants "at least two, probably three [kids]. I've always been maternal."
