If you know anything about David Hasselhoff, you know he's a very popular musician … in Europe that is. Somehow, the former "Baywatch" and "Knight Rider" star with a penchant for the spotlight has wooed our counterparts across the Atlantic and ended up with a rather successful music career there.

On Monday the 59-year-old released his 17th — yes 17th! — album, titled This Time Around, at a record store in London (England still has those), where he signed copies for a line of fans.

And like a true rock star The Hoff even had his hot young girlfriend -- 32-year-old Hayley Roberts, whom he met while serving as a judge on "Britain's Got Talent " -- accompany him to the event. Though there were reports that the couple got engaged at the end of January after they both tweeted about a potential proposal along with a shot of Hasselhoff on one knee with Roberts over Sydney Harbor, sounds like the whole thing was just an odd sort of joke. "The truth is I'm having a fantastic time with this lovely lady but at this time we have no plans to marry," Hasselhoff told People.

Tuesday, Hasselhoff kept his string of London media appearances going with a spot on "This Morning," a U.K. morning show. "On the way to @itvthismorning to perform a song from my new album 'This Time Around,'" he posted on Twitter, "and to have a little chat about my live show on Friday!"

What live show, you ask? It's called "An Evening With David Hasselhoff," and it's "an opportunity for me to bring my sold-out European tour to the U.K.," The Hoff said in a description of the show on the theater's website . "In this show, there is something for everyone, so I'm extending a personal invitation for everyone to come and party Hoff-style. It's gonna rock!"

We're sure it will!
