New Report: Facebook's Huge IPO Coming in May

There has been plenty of speculation that Facebook's much-anticipated IPO would likely happen in mid-2012, but finally we have a report of a specific timeframe: the third week of May. So you can finally mark down what's suppose to be the largest initial public offering ever from an Internet company on your calendars. AllThingsD's Kara Swisher reported early on Monday that "multiple sources" claim that the company will be filing its IPO documents within the next month in anticipation of FCBK (or whatever ticker symbol Zuckerberg chooses) finally hitting the stock market sometime between May 14 and May 18. There are plenty of caveats to that date, like market volatility or regulation snafus, but the Swisher's report confirms an earlier one from The Wall Street Journal putting the IPO between April and June that seemed to be legit to us.
