5 Celeb Moms Who Took Time Losing Their Baby Weight

Beyonce looks amazing in the photos released last week. Barely a month after delivering little Blue Ivy, she looks as if she never had a day of stretch marks or morning sickness.

Certain other celeb moms are just as fortunate. Good genes and even better personal trainers help whip them back into pre-baby shape faster than you can say "bikini body." They probably had their maternity clothes given to charity before they even left the maternity ward.

But my personal heroines are the famous mothers who don't shrink down to a size 0 before their babies start eating solids. They hang on to those extra pounds because they have less time to work out, or their bodies just naturally take longer to snap back, or - gasp! - they're enjoying their babies too much to obsess about posing for magazine covers in skin-tight jeans.

Take Jennifer Lopez here, for instance. After giving birth to twins Max and Emme, she didn't take off the weight for a year. "I even played with my little leftover belly," she once said. Finally, she turned to triathlon training to get an Idol-ic body, but even now, she's not skeleton-thin and probably never will be.

And thank goodness for that! It's refreshing to see famous women who look like the rest of us after they give birth. Yes, actresses and entertainers make a living off their appearance, but they shouldn't be made to feel that they're doing their studios and their fans a disservice by not peeling off the pounds as quickly as humanly possible.

Here are some other well-known mothers who didn't push themselves to get skinny. Take a look and weigh in - do you love them as much as we do?
