Daniel Radcliffe Tries His Hand at Stand-up

Actor Daniel Radcliffe had plenty to share during hisguest spot on "Late Night With Jimmy Fallon" Monday.

The 21-year-old, best known for his portrayal of thenerdy Harry Potter, explained why he feels much cooler in New York than on theother side of the pond. "In England, an English accent isn't remotelyexotic, whereas over here, it gets you a long way," laughed the actor, whoalso who graces the cover of super cool Gotham magazine thismonth.

One thing he doesn't understand about Americans? Ourobsession with the royal wedding. "I wish them all the happiness in theworld, but I'm not going as feverish as everyone else seems, too," hesaid.

Daniel, who's currently in New York starring in theBroadway production of "How to Succeed in Business Without ReallyTrying," also shared the reason he refuses to go clubbing, and theembarrassing story of his meeting with Sarah, Duchess of York, before good oldJimmy tried to embarrass him even more by encouraging him to try stand-upcomedy in front of the live audience. Jimmy introduced him as "the youngDanny Radcliffe" and gave him the floor.

How did he do? First off, "Danny" admitted hetook the joke from a British comedian. And secondly ... well, you be the judge."How do you kill a circus?" he asked. Go for the juggler."

Daniel, you'd better keep your day job.
