Whether you're flying solo this Valentine's Day or spending it with someone you love, why not stay in and turn on a romantic movie?

Snuggle up on the couch with a cup of hot cocoa and a bowl of popcorn as you watch a love-themed flick. There's no better way to warm your heart!

Here are our picks for the TOP 5 FLICKS that'll warm your heart:

1. Valentine's Day: This star-studded romantic comedy follows the lives of multiple couples on Valentine's Day and definitely captures the true holiday spirit. Full of both happiness and heartache, the unexpected surprises that come at the end of the movie are worth the wait. Some critics have said this flick can be a bit sappy and cheesy at times, but hey, isn't that what Valentine's Day is about?

2. Romeo & Juliet: Perhaps the greatest and yet most tragic love story of all-time. The love that Romeo & Juliet shared on screen has transcended time and captured the hearts of audiences for years. Now all you have to do is decide whether you'd rather watch the 1968 version narrated by Sir Laurence Olivier or take in the 1996 version starring heartthrob Leonardo DiCaprio! (If you go with Leo, we suggest following it up with Titanic, another one of his tragic love stories that took the box office by storm).

3. An Affair to Remember: The American Film Institute ranks this 1957 classic as one of the most romantic movies of all-time. This story about two individuals who fall in love and agree to meet up at the top of the Empire State Building after six months, if they are able to end the unhappy relationships they are already in, has some tragic twists but those looking for a happy ending won't be disappointed.

4. Sleepless in Seattle: Inspired by An Affair Remember, reporter Annie Reed (Meg Ryan) feels a special connection with a man (Tom Hanks) who lost his wife to cancer and asks him to meet her on top of the Empire State Building on Valentine's Day. Will they meet up and start their own affair to remember? GalTime suggests checking it out to find out-after watching An Affair to Remember.

5. The Wedding Singer: Sure we've all seen this on TV a thousand times, but GalTime just can't get enough of this cute romantic comedy that's set in the 1980s. Filled with catchy music and gaudy clothes, The Wedding Singer captures much of the essence of the times and the cheesy one-liners make for some great laughs. However, the best part is watching the blossoming relationship between a wedding singer (Adam Sandler) and a waitress at the reception hall (Drew Barrymore), which leads to a lasting love affair that we all can't help but gush over!

Whichever film you choose-- the romantic in you won't be disappointed. Prepare to fall in love-- with love-- again!
