Video: Richie Brown turns Miss. State commitment into signing day’s cutest moment

Every National Signing Day, there's always one recruit who captures the "Awwwwww" moment.

Last year, Georgia running back Isaiah Crowell nailed it when he brought along a bulldog puppy wearing a Georgia sweater for his commitment to the Bulldogs. This year, Long Beach, Miss., linebacker Richie Brown took the honors by having his infant nephew announce his collegiate choice in full MSU regalia.

As Brown was about to make his decision between Mississippi State, Southern Miss, Tennessee and Ole Miss, he yielded to his nephew, who had a Mississippi State onesie underneath his sweatshirt. Brown sealed the deal by putting on a Bulldogs hat.

The "awww's" from the crowd were quite audible as the baby was thrust into the spotlight. Puppies? Babies? How could he go wrong?

There hasn't been a lot of flair during this year's proceedings, so this moment definitely stood out. It was a cute gesture by Brown and one for someone to top next year — just as long as it stops short of the inevitable National Signing Day marriage proposal.
